Obituary of Elizabeth A. Scheck

SCHECK, Elizabeth A. Age 84 of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born February 10, 1935 in Osceola Mills, PA, daughter of the late Steven and Anna (Comitz) Danko and passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Bethany Manor. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2013; brothers John, Steve and Albert Danko; brother-in-law William Czar. Betty is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Linda Scheck of Elmira, Tamara and Jeffrey Salisbury of Horseheads; grandsons Christopher and Matthew Salisbury of Horseheads; brothers Nickolas Danko and Eugene (Barb) Danko; sister Helen Czar; sister-in-law Georgie Danko along with several nieces and nephews. Betty retired from Sears. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Family and friends are invited to her funeral service on Friday, February 7th at 10 am in Holy Trinity Othodox Christian Church, 140 Horseheads Blvd., Elmira Heights. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
