Mary Jo, Jamie, Jill and the rest of family, We were devastated to hear of Jim's passing. He was our oldest and dearest friend. So many memories of both are families spending time together. Roger has many memories of them growing up together. He was the funniest guy you could ever meet. We all used to joke saying he should have been on TV. He was the kindest, most caring person you could ever meet. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, PaPa, and friend! Fly high our friend, and when you reach Heaven, so many will be there to greet you ! You will always remain in our hearts ! Love you and miss you always, Roger and Bonnie

MaryJo, Jamie, Jill and family...It is with a broken heart that I reflect on some memories. I met Jim at MacMillan on my 1st day and that night he and Joe G introduced me to the Midway... the beginning of our friendship! We watched WCW / WWF and travel to Binghamton to see the Road Warriors, Jake the Snake and The Macho Man. Friday and Saturday nights through Winter, found us at the domes for EC Hockey.
Through the years with Bill, Matt, Steve and Lou, we drank many beers, frequented the beverage establishments and clubs, worked the kitchen at the Elks for bingo night, played a lot of golf, teammates in fantasy football leagues and watched a lot of football, especially at Bill’s house. We even built the front deck on the house, if my memory serves me correctly...that was a 3 case job!
Most of all we laughed! I’ll miss my friend...

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

MaryJo ,Jamie and Jill. I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Many memories going way back when the kids were little. Its gonna seem strange when I will be mowing this summer and we always had our little chats. One time my tractor quit and he gave it his all to see what was wrong with it. If you need anything please get ahold of me. I'm real good at mowing lawns. Fly high Jim. Prayers for all of you

To Mary Jo and the rest of the family, my sincere condolences. Jim and I knew and worked together at MacMillan Bloedel and Weyerhaeuser over a span of 26 years. We had many good laughs and we might even have banged heads together a time or two. But what I remember, and what makes me smile in spite of his premature departure, was his facade of a gruff character but with a laughing heart underneath it all. He was always a go-to, can-do force in our business and he had everybody's well-being in his intentions. I've poked around on Facebook and have run across some recent pictures of Jim and a grandchild or two. Was that guy filled with love or what? Anyway, I'm sorry I can't be with you at the service but know that every time I think of Jim, I smile. I'm very sorry for your loss....he had lots left to give. Kindest personal regards......Jim Hoag
