Obituary of Katherine L. Zubriski

ZUBRISKI, Katherine L. Age 90 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born November 16, 1922 in Elmira, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Ptak) Rogus. Katherine was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, John J. Zubriski on November 11, 2010 and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Mary and William Price of East Fallowfield, PA, Jane Smith of Horseheads, Elizabeth and Mario Ruggiero of Horseheads; grandchildren Arthur Cook Smith IV (Heather) of Elmira, Bill (Amanda) Price of York, PA, Ann (Dennis) Doyle of Glenside, PA, Luke (Vanessa) Ruggiero of Horseheads and Beth (Chris) Bell of Elmira; 12 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Zubriski was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She was a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society and the P.N.A. At her request there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 22nd at 10 am in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 130 Oakwood Ave., Elmira Heights. Rev. Scott Kubinski, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Katherine through donations to St. Joseph's Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit, 5th Fl., 555 St. Joseph's Way, Elmira, NY 14901.
