Obituary of James W. Benjamin

BENJAMIN, James W., Jr. Age 67 of Elmira, NY. He was born February 1, 1952 in Elmira, NY, son of the late James W. and Theresa (Burbank) Benjamin, Sr. and passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Kathy and 4 siblings. He is survived by his children Michael (Nytosha) Benjamin of Elmira and Dana (Chris) Laughlin of Beaver Dams; grandchildren James J. (Megan) Benjamin, Kyle W. (Stacey) Benjamin and Kalli R. (Brandon) Laughlin; great grandchildren Bentley and Miley; siblings Paul Benjamin, Darlene Benjamin, Carol Pelrah, Danny Benjamin and Hal Benjamin along with several nieces and nephews. James was formerly employed with Elmira College. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, May 17th from 2 to 4 pm. A celebration of life will follow at 4 pm.
