I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Kathy's family. To her daughter, who I met once when she was a young girl...to Venitra, and to Sheila....hugs, sisters in Christ! I knew Kathy for some time...she was an eclectic woman with many nuances....I enjoyed her company and the interesting conversations we would have just a few short years ago now. I also remember her from when we were teens. I am happy to see in my mind, her walking and talking with Jesus...there, she receives that unconditional love that we all need so much. Peace be with you all!

So very sorry for your lost. I like to think I had a wonderful bond with Kathy. She was a remarkable woman, we talked about many things, past and present. She was a very proud and caring person. Always, always fashion consious. I remember she would go shopping and we she came home she would be so excited to show me what bargains she got. She would say to me, Girl, wait until you see what I got today. Sometimes she would even model a new outfit and I would compliment her on how beautiful she looked. She would paint her nails at least 3 times a week. She had a temper as well and she would let you know when she felt someone crossed her or came out of their mouth wrong. She always kept her room very organized and if she cleaned out clothes or other items she would ask me to take her to drop them off at the Samaritan Center. I would make her soul food and she loved it, take her shopping and to doctors appointments. We developed a great friendship. Unfortunately I lost touch with her and am sorry to learn of her passing. R.I.P my friend, your days of frustration and suffering are done! You touched the lives of many!
