Obituary of Anna Harabin

HARABIN, Anna Age 88 of Elmira, NY. She was born May 28, 1924 in Elmira, daughter of the late Stephen and Macrina (Susick) Zubriski and passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 unexpectedly in Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Harabin, Sr. in 2007 and brothers and sister, Sophie Dooley, Walter Zubriski and John Zubriski. She is survived by her children and their spouses Judith and Richard Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Paul, Jr. and Marie of Southington, CT, John Mathew and Donna of Clearwater, FL and Jean Marie and George Potter of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Krisitina Stoots of Charlotte, NC, Karen Mongold of Buffalo, NY, Cindy Uanino of Shelton, CT, Daniel Harabin and Richard Harabin of Charlotte, NC, Paul and Erin Harabin both of Southington, CT and Lauren Odynski of Charlotte, NC; 6 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Mildred Zubriski of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law Katherine Zubriski of Elmira Heights along with many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, February 24th from 5 to 7 pm. Panikhyda will be held at 6 pm. Prayers will be offered there on Monday, February 25th at 9:30 am followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 am in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Rev. Robert Batcho, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
