Obituary of Dorothy M. VanHouten

VAN HOUTEN, Dorothy M. Age 86 of Elmira, NY. She was born February 21, 1926 in Elmira, daughter of the late Samuel and Gertrude (Parker) Cline and passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was predeceased by her husband Harold , son William and is survived by her children Helen of FL and Harold of NY; grandchildren Diane, Tracey, Scott, Evie, Ethan, Patricia and Chrissy; great grandchildren A.J., Victoria, Scott Jr., Chandler and Ryan; great, great grandson Corliss. Dorothy was retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, February 15th from 12 to 2 pm. Her funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
