Obituary of Henry Geter

GETER, Henry

Age 61 of Elmira, NY. He was born October 2, 1955 in Elmira, the son of Henry and Ruby Lee (Harper) Geter and passed away Monday, July 30, 2017 unexpectedly at home. He was predeceased by his father Henry and is survived by his daughter Laetitia Geter of Elmira; sons Jamus and Henry Geter both of Albany, NY; mother Ruby Lee Geter of Corning, NY; sister Bertha Geter of Elmira; brother Donald Geter of Raleigh, NC; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Henry was formerly employed with Flickinger's and the Elmira DPW. Henry loved life! and always said "leave it right there". Family and friends are invited to his graveside service on Wednesday, August 9th at 11 am in Woodlawn Cemetery. Please meet at the Walnut St. Gate at 10:45 am.
