WYCHE, Gwendolyn (Fuller)

Gwendolyn passed peacefully from this life in the afternoon hours on Thursday, July 6, 2017 after a difficult illness. Gwendolyn was surrounded and supported by her loving family during her last days. She was born November 21, 1948 in Richmond Hill, GA, daughter of Charlie and Lula Mae (Clark) Fuller. She worked as an Inspector with Phillip's Lighting in Bath, NY for nearly 30 years. She was a communicant of the Elmira Christian Center along with her husband for 35 years. Gwendolyn was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had a smile for everyone she would meet. In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 48 years, Robert Wyche; her dear children, Eric Wyche & Shalika (James Sr.) Gee; beloved grandchildren, Ejazzian Wyche Biddle, Ryan Wyche, Aaron Wyche, Arianna Wyche, Makya Wyche, James Gee Jr., Truis Wyche, T'nia Gee, & K'nia Gee; dear great grandchildren, Honesty Smith, Kianna Wyche, Chance Richardson, Khalil Wyche, Khalea Wyche & Sky Josephine Biddle; sisters, Vivian Clark, JoAnn Jackson (Fuller) & Wanda Shepard (Fuller); brothers, Julius (Patricia) Clark & Charles (Donna) Fuller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry Wyche Sr. & Loretta Shaw; sisters-in-law, Lillie R. Smith, Lucy Solomon, Eloise Wyche, Nancy Times, Julius Len Harris, Wanda Wooden & Angela Earven; brothers-in-law, Jerry Wyche Jr., Henry Wyche, & Willie Wyche; along with a host of cousins, nieces & nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Elmira Christian Center, 235 E Miller St, in Elmira, on Thursday, July, 13, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm. Gwendolyn's funeral service will be held there at 12 pm. Pastor David Leandre officiating. Interment and committal prayers will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
