Obituary of Sharon L. Chapman

CHAPMAN, Sharon L.

Age 66 of Horseheads. She was born October 8, 1950 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Clarence and Phyllis (Cox) Chapman and passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother and sisters-in-law James A. and Barbara Chapman and Lucinda Chapman. She is survived by her siblings Robert Chapman of Elmira, Carol (William) Ewert of Rochester, NY, William (Renee) Chapman of AZ and Richard Chapman of Rochester, NY; favorite niece Bridget Chapman of Elmira along with several other nieces and nephews. Sharon retired from Weis Markets in Elmira and TJ Maxx in Horseheads. She was a member of the Elmira Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends; loved cats; was an extremely avid reader; an active birder and member of the Audubon Society. Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Saturday, August 5th at 10:30 am in the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 48 Hibbard Road Extension N, Big Flats.
