Obituary of Charles M Ferguson

FERGUSON, Charles M. Age 82 of Elmira, NY. He was born December 4, 1930 in Savona, NY, son of the late Malcolm and Alice (Hoad) Ferguson and passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was predeceased by his wife Marion in 1998, step-sons Bud Carpenter and Leon Conklin; brothers Ronnie and Donald Holmes; sister Margie Smith; He is survived by his children Charles M Ferguson II, Charlene M, Ferguson Melville both of Elmira, step-children Mickie Turner of Elmira; Jan Brewster of Maine, Patsy (Len) Hadix of TX, Bonnie (Alex) Card of FL, Ronnie (Ginny) Carpenter of FL; brother Dale Ferguson of Arizona; sisters Nancy Craig of GA and Connie O'Dell of Monterey, NY; Charles was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He retired from Capabilities, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during Korea and attended Elcor Adult Care. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service with military honors on Monday, December 31st at 5 pm in Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. His family thanks the staff at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for their wonderful family care provided them during Charles' stay.
