Obituary of Willie P. White

Willie "Deac" White was born on May 1, 1934 to the late Ories White and Mrs. Jessie Petersen. Willie departed his earthly home after a rich and fulfilled life to go home with the lord on Monday, December 17, 2012, at his and his wife's home in Elmira, NY. Willie joined his wife Mary in Holy Matrimony on March 18, 1974. Willie was preceded in death by his siblings Charles and Carl White and Martha B. Lorraine and his son Ories White. Willie was a faithful member of Open Door Church in Bellport, New York, where he served diligently in the following capacities; Deacon of the church, loyal member of the church board and trustee board. He later joined Faith Temple Community Church in Elmira, New York, July 2012 and served as a faithful member until his departure. Willie attended White Plains High School in White Plains, New York. Willie leaves to cherish his fond memories; one daughter, Mrs. Arial (Tarrell) Brown. He also leaves 10 sons; Mr. Robert (Vera) White and Mr. Darren (Missy) White, Mr. Willie White Jr., all of Long Island, New York, Mr. Alphonso (Shannon) Greene, Mr. Willie Lee (Pamela) Greene, Mr. Anthony (Valerie) White, Mr. Rodney White, Mr. Nathaum (Crystal) White, Mr. Richard Greene, Mr. Kenneth Greene, and a step-daughter, Christina Torres all of Elmira, New York. He is also survived by two sisters; Ories J. Ramsure and Gloria J. Madaus both of Orlando, Florida, 40 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
