Obituary of Stanley Stroman

STROMAN, Stanley Age 59 of Elmira, NY. He was born June 25, 1956 in Elmira, the son of Clyde, Sr. and Hattie (Keith) Stroman and passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was predeceased by his father Clyde Stroman, Sr.; brother Bruce and is survived by his mother Hattie Stroman; children Maranda Michelle Stroman and Stanley Stroman, Jr.; grandchildren Quaron, Syon, Pharoah, Nyzaiah, Syilas, Marsean and Ghrasun; brothers Clyde Stroman, Jr. and Kent Stroman all of Elmira along with a host of nieces and nephews. Stanley was a Corrections Officer with the Chemung County Sheriff's Department. He was a well-known musician and bodybuilder. Family and friends are invited to visit Lake St. Presbyterian Church, 300 Lake St., Elmira on Monday, January 25th from 10 am to 12 noon. His funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Minister Juhura Shazer will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
