Obituary of Jeanette Webb

WEBB, Jeanette H. Age 97 of Elmira, NY. She was born June 16, 1915 in Elmira, daughter of the late Harry E. and Grace (Chilvers) Hammond and passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband Lowell in 1985; granddaughter Deborah Ring; brothers Easton, Richard and Albert Hammond; sister Louise Jack. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Thomas and Sandra Webb of Horseheads, John and Phyllis Webb of Tega Cay, SC; daughter Sandra Moneymaker of Beacon, NY; grandchildren Thomas E. and Karen Webb with children Jacob, Zachary and Nicholas of Pine City, Steven Webb with son Zerek of Horseheads, JB and Jessica Webb with children Benjamin and Annabelle of Huntersville, NC, Charles and Jessica Webb with children Samantha, Ellen Rose and Grace of Elmira, Beatrice and Michael Gioeni of Clifton Park, NY, Thomas and Nina Moneymaker of Washington, DC, Jonathan and Jennifer Moneymaker of Kew Gardens, NY, Eric Ring with daughter Chelsea of Florida, NY; sister-in-law Doris Hammond of Frostproof, FL along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Webb was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from Quality Printers; was a volunteer with Friendly Red Door, Meals on Wheels (until she was 92 years old) and Hedding Church. Family and friends are invited to visit New Beginnings United Methodist, Church, 300 E. Miller St., Elmira on Tuesday, December 18th from 10 to 11 am. Her funeral service will begin at 11 am. Rev. Michael Weeden will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Her family wishes to thank Mary Locke and family for their loving kindness and thoughtfulness of Mom over the past 5 years and to Bethany Courtyards, Orchard View staff for their caring treatment of Mom over the past 8 months.
