Obituary of Robert J. Dear

DEAR, Sr., Robert J. Age 75 of Wilmington, NC, formerly of Pine City. He was born August 22, 1940 in Abington, PA, son of the late George and Virginia (Darling) Dear and passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Corning Hospital. He was predeceased by his grandson Cameron and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth (Mascaro) Dear, daughter Kim (Fred) Wagner of Lindley, NY; son Robert (Joyce) Dear, Jr. of Elmira; grandsons Trevor, Jacob and Dillon Dear, Colton, Mitchel and Braden Wagner; brother George (Betty) Dear of Lawrenceville, PA along with several nieces and nephews. Bob enjoyed the shore his entire life. He had a passion for bowling, fishing and loved NASCAR racing (Go Kyle Busch!). Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, December 1st from 5 to 7 pm. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Fitzsimmons Cemetery.
