Obituary of Mary Cox

COX, Mary Age 81, of Elmira, NY. She was born November 12, 1933 daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette (DelMonte) Cook, and passed away on August 6, 2015 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was predeceased by her daughter Karen Rupp in 1977, her sister Anna Boykin and her brothers Joseph and Angelo Cook and is survived by her son Richard Cox of Hackettstown, NJ; grandchildren, Jared, Tyler and Makenzie Cox; brother Anthony Cook of Elmira; sister Theresa Carr of Leesburg, FL and several nieces and nephews including Sharon Crean of Horseheads. Mary had worked for A & P Company in Horseheads. Family and friends are invited to visit at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, August 10th from 11 am to 1pm. Her funeral service will take place at 1pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
