Obituary of Lyle F. Hicks

Jesus took Lyle F. Hicks’ hand and led him home on June 6, 2015 at 2:00 a.m. Lyle was born November 4, 1938 in Troy, PA son of the late Leland G. and Esther (Comfort) Hicks. He was a lifelong resident of Elmira and a retired Corrections Officer. Lyle is predeceased by his brothers, Maxwell and Loren Hicks and sister, Charlene Habel Seymour. Lyle is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Marjorie Ann Hicks; sons, Christopher L. Hicks, Chips F. (Heidi) Hicks; daughters, Patricia A. Hicks, Lila A. (Wayne ) Menzi and Margie A. (William ) Green; grandchildren Shannon Hicks-Albrecht, James and Richard Hicks, Blake Marshall, William J. (B.J.), Jr. and Tiffany Green; great grandchildren Joseph, Charlotte & Caitlyn Albrecht; brothers Kenneth R. (Daisy) Hicks, Sr., James C. (Nancy) Miller and Alan W. (Linda) Kakretz along with several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J.
