Obituary of Anna Hinman

HINMAN Anna C. (Andrews) Age 83, of Elmira, NY, was called home to God on March 4th, 2015. She was born October 16th, 1931, daughter of the late Ignatius & Gladys Andrews. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her daughter Laurie Ann Hinman and sisters Sally and Rosemary. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Lawrence J. Hinman Sr., her loving children; Diane (John) Brusso, Lawrence J. (Diane Solomon) Hinman Jr., Kathleen (Jeff) Benner, Winifred (Seth) Hinman-Austin, her dear grandchildren; Michele (James) Wasicki, Theresa (Jeff) Brown, Michael (Angela) Brusso, Mary Brusso, Andrew Brusso, Lindsay Hinman & Dave Daversa, Kimberly Hinman, Jessica Benner, Joanna Benner, Patrick Hinman & Cassie Todd, her loving sisters; Delores (Albert) Witterling, Elizabeth (Fred) Fitzpatrick, and other siblings, along with 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. We honor Anna's life and her love of her family. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, crafts, baking, and gardening. Anna was always a hard worker, employed as a hairdresser and a practical nurse; she enjoyed caring for others. We offer heartfelt thanks to the 5th Floor Nursing Staff of St. Joseph's Hospital along with Dr. Schiavone. Special thanks as well to Dr. Foster for many years of care provided to Anna.
