Obituary of Carl A. Elliott

ELLIOTT, Sr., Carl A. Age 71 of Elmira, NY. He was born April 2, 1943 in Corning, NY, son of the late Earl and the late Erma (Barber) Elliott and passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife; Sarah K. Elliott in 2010 and his stepson, Mark Alexander. Carl is survived by his four children; Stacey (Donald Jr.) Gates of Arkansas, Carl (Becky Decker) Elliott, Jr. of Elmira, NY, Beverly (Donald Jackson) Elliott of Elmira, NY, Jennifer (Carlton) Soule of Pennsylvania, and stepchildren; Faith (Louie) Williams of Syracuse, NY, Tammy (Don Briggs) Smith of Horseheads, NY, and Michelle Bednarek of Rochester, NY, along with many grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. He served two terms in the Army in Korea and was self-employed, working on everything from furnaces to cars and even asphalt. A graveside service with military honors for Carl will be held on Wednesday, December, 31, 2014 at 12 noon in Woodlawn Cemetery, 1200 Walnut Street, in Elmira. Pastor Richard Hack will officiate.
