Obituary of Kirk M. Clemens

CLEMENS, Kirk M. Age 54 of Big Flats, NY. He was born August 6, 1960 in Elmira, son of Buddy and Carole (Ross) Clemens and passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at home after a brave battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his brothers Todd D. and Mark D. Clemens and is survived by his parents Carole and Buddy Clemens of Big Flats; daughters Nicole M. Clemens (Jamie Lang), Brandi S. (Trevor) Dieffenbach and Amber L. Clemens (Bill Deely); grandchildren who he adored, Leah White, Devon and Stryker Dieffenbach, Christopher Clemens and Miles Lang; special friends Scott Levack, Shawn Urbaniak, Juan, and Gina and Barbara at the Boar's Nest. Kirk was formerly employed with Cameron Manufacturing as a welder and was considered a "welding artist". He was very artistic; had a deep love for animals; enjoyed fishing and tending the flower gardens. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, November 29th from 1 to 3 pm. His memorial service will follow at 3 pm. Chaplain Meredith Tifft will officiate.
