Obituary of Helen M. Rupp

RUPP, Helen M. Age 94 of Elmira, NY. She was born June 6, 1920 in Elmira, daughter of the late Michael and Victoria (Sulkowski) Gumoski and passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene E. in 1990, 1 brother and 3 sisters and is survived by her children Marilyn Rupp, with whom she resided, Eugene (Maria) Rupp, Toni Shields; grandchildren Kelly (Nathan) Eldridge, Lisa Shields (Gary Palmieri), Andrew Shields and Matthew Rupp (Crystal Johns); 3 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Margaret Rupp all of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews. Helen was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Cecilia's Church). It was her request that a private family visitation be held. Family and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 1st at 10 am in Ss. Peter & Paul Church. Rev. Richard Farrell, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
