Obituary of Mary T. Potts

POTTS, Mary T. Age 86 of Elmira, NY. She was born January 31, 1928 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Dominic and the late Rose (Ferraro) Briganti and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Mackey "Mack", her son Steven Potts, as well as two infant sons. She is survived by her daughter: Theresa (Nick) Fusare; sister: Grace Muller; nieces, Diane (Dan) Bennett, Eileen Muller; daughter-in-law, Janet Potts; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jenna) Fusare, Nick (Stephanie) Fusare, Beth Fusare & Chris Roupp, and Tim Potts; along with great-grandchildren; Riley Fusare, MacKenzie Fusare, Blake Fusare, Kayleigh Fusare, Kamryn Fusare, Sidney Sanders, Christofer Roupp, and Megan Potts. Mary retired from Westinghouse after 30 years working as an inspector. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Elmira. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake Street, Elmira on Monday, July, 21st from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 22nd at 11 AM at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery, Elmira.
