Obituary of Doris Jane Simons

SIMONS, Doris Jane (Benjamin) "Ma B", owner of Mr. B's Family Inn Age 80 of Elmira, NY. She was born October 8, 1933 in Wyalusing, PA, daughter of the late Louis Raymond and Isabel Laura (Johnson) Croft and passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband's Charles F. Benjamin and George R. Simons; daughter-in-law Linda (Linda Jane) Benjamin and grandson Bobby Lee Charles Benjamin (Bob-Bob). Doris is survived by her children and their spouses Gary Benjamin, Robert and Ellen Benjamin, Kathy and George Norton, Charles and Karen Benjamin, Paula Jane and Bill Hartman, Joann and Gerald Watts, Penny Marie Benjamin all of Elmira; special niece and nephew Joann and James Chrysler of Waverly; grandchildren Christopher and Jessica Heeman of Dundee, Charity Norton of Elmira, Charles (C.J.) and Deanna Benjamin of Waverly, Daniel (Danny Jo) and Heidi Benjamin, Tyler (Magoo) Benjamin, Zackery (Zacker Doo) Benjamin, Robert (Robbie) and Jenna Benjamin, Justin (Justy B) Hartman and Bruce Hubschmitt, Casey (Caser Ann) Hartman, Joshua (Josher Jo) Benjamin, Joseph (Joer Mike) Grover, Jennifer (Jenner Mike) Grover, Stephanie (Steffer Lou Lou) Baxter, Christopher (Scott) Card and Candis (Candy Lou Lou) Hill all of Elmira; great grandchildren Leah Michelle (Wee Wee) Hall, Isabel Anna (Izzy) Norton, Rhianna Lynn (Nana), Dena Jo (Beaner) Benjamin, Ethan Richard Guiles, Logan (RiRi) Card, Arabella (Rbella) Benjamin, Louden, Jacob Benjamin, Kevian (Zecker Doo) Hill, Payton Renee Benjamin all of Elmira and Desmond Heeman of Dundee. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, July 11th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm. Her funeral service will be held there on Saturday, July 12th at 11 am. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Wyalusing Cemetery.
