Obituary of Ray A. Smith

SMITH, Ray A. Age 77 of Horseheads, NY. He was born January 29, 1937 in Elmira, son of the late Basil and Elizabeth (Kime) Smith and passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Elcor Health Services. He was predeceased by his son Timothy in 2011 and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ellen (Zuris) Smith; daughter Dianna Smith of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughters Lindsay Eustice of NYC and Kristi Eustice of Phoenix, AZ; grandsons Joshua and Alex Smith both of Lowman; siblings Joy Kurtz, Gerald Smith, Dale Smith and Joan Hall along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith was employed with Cornell University. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
