Obituary of Eris Anne Troy

TROY, Eris Anne (Slocum) Age 76 of Elmira, NY passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 unexpectedly at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was predeceased by her grandson Timothy and is survived by her sons Timothy of Rexford, NY, Joseph of Elmira and Mark of Pine City; grandchildren Mara and Markis of Pine City; brother and sister-in-law Kent and Phyllis Slocum of Elkland, PA and sister-in-law Mary Connors of Addison. Eris graduated from Elkland High School in 1955, attended the University of N Florida; the Court Reporting School in Jacksonville, FL and was employed in the Florida legal system for 30 years. A service honoring her life will be held at a later date. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
