Obituary of Eugene F. Westrick Sr.

Age 82, was born October 16, 1942 in Patton, PA the son of the late Paul and Helen (Stolz) Westrick; passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 10, 2025. His loving wife, Gloria A. (Vasil) Westrick preceded him in death June 4, 1996. His sisters: Margaret, Malvina "Mally", and Carol; brothers: Paul and Richard "Rick" also predeceased him. He is survived by his beloved children: daughter, DanaLynn A. (Westrick) Heifferon, sons, Eugene F. Westrick Jr. and Christopher S. (Kelly) Westrick; adored grandchildren: Shane P. Heifferon, Alexander S. Westrick, Francis M. Westrick, Michael C. Westrick, Kristen M. Westrick, Alyssa N. Westrick and Tyler M. Westrick; siblings: Trisha, Diana, Jude and Cathy; along with several nieces, nephews and many special friends and co-workers he worked with. Eugene retired from Corning Inc. after several years of dedicated service as a Class A machinist. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting at the range. He loved NASCAR and was a huge fan of the # 3 Intimidator, Dale Earnhardt Sr. Eugene loved his truck, country music and going for rides in his truck; and especially enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets at his favorite lake, Waneta Lake. Eugene was a history buff and loved watching the old westerns and the classic war movies. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J.
