Where do I start with this special man? I unfortunately didn't get to know him for very long but in the time that I did I seen just how special he was to every last one of you. In turn he became a special part of this growing, odd cluster that I call my family. He was laid back and was up for just about anything and his sense of humor was hilariously dark...darker than my tan lol. He was mischievous at times and the kids loved that influence to "go be kids". Alex...he was everything your biological father wasn't and you needed that...you needed someone to help build you up without being so harsh and knock you down. Mandy...he was your soulmate...he drove you crazy but he always made it up to you and he made sure you knew that he loved you down to his very last breath. Truman...he was the guy that you could do things with that your biological wouldn't approve of. It was hilarious watching all of you light up and become 10-20 years younger when he was around...your giggles...your smiles...your eye rolls (Ma I'm looking at you) lol. I may have not known him for long but I knew him long enough to know that he was a perfect fit in this family. He became a part of my circle...a part of my insanity I call life. He acquired 3 more grandkids that enjoyed his inner child energy just as much as Reagan and Hudson. He quickly accepted them all into his circle which I don't have enough words to describe how much I appreciate him for doing so. He became "Papa" or to some of the kids "Papa Steve". Reagan...you loved him dearly and you will never forget him. He will always and forever be a part of your heart and soul. Hudson...you are still young yet and don't quite understand what's going on but I know that you know something is missing. Jonathan...I know that it hurts you that he's gone but you are much like me...taking the time to make sure everyone else is okay and burying your own pain...let it out...it will eat you alive if you don't. Christian...you had your own special connection with him...you love wholeheartedly and there's nothing wrong with that. Lois...you are another that doesn't quite understand what had happened but you can feel others emotions and you give out those fantastic healing hugs. Steve...your presence will be dearly missed and over time more tears will be shed...little things will stir up memories and more tears will be shed...it takes time and time heals all wounds but the scars will always be there to remind you of your losses
