Obituary of Joyce E. Nichols

NICHOLS, Joyce E. Age 88 of Villa Serene, Elmira Heights, NY. She was born November 24, 1925 in Elmira, daughter of the late Fred and Effie (Cornell) Robinson and passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Elcor Health Services. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1965 and sons Larry, Brian and Keith. She is survived by her daughter Terry Hess of York, PA; sons Gordon of National City, CA and Randy of Elmira Heights; daughters-in-law Betty Nichols of Elmira Heights and Barbara Nichols of Milwaukee, WI along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joyce was a former employee of Iszards Dept. Store. She volunteered at Corning Hospital and Steuben Co. Public Health. Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Saturday, December 14th at 11 am at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. Interment will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
