Obituary of Jimmy D. Kingsbury Sr.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jimmy D. Kingsbury Sr. He was born May 21, 1965 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Ernest William Kingsbury Sr. and Charlotte Elizabeth (Hartley), passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Harry E. Painter; Sherrie Flannery, Sally Kingsbury, Gary Dove, Gordon Kingsbury, Connie Hare and father-in-law, Kenny Forsyth. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Karen (Forsyth) Kingsbury; son, Jimmy (Cassandra) Kingsbury Jr.; son, Todd (Nicole) Kingsbury; grandchildren, Leahanna, Tiffany, Heavenly, Natalie, Amelia, Hunter, Chayce and Seth; great grandchildren, Landynn and Maddie; Brothers, Rudy, Ernie and Mike Kingsbury; sisters, Nancy, Helen, Judy, Reba, and Lois; mother-in-law, Nancy Forsyth; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all else, he loved his family…they were everything to him. Jimmy will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
