There are numerous memories of the times spent enjoying the delicious food and conversations with Tommy and Joey. Worked for them on some electrical repairs when needed. Couldn't find a better person! Our condolences to the family.

Dear Carol and Moretti family,
I'm so sorry for your loss and Elmira's loss. I have been a fan and loyal customer of Moretti's ( The joint as Tommy would say)for over 60 years. It was always full of celebrities ( local and national). The food was excellent, the atmosphere festive. I often attended with regulars like Mike Zimmer, Mick Harrigan and James Baker. We always talked about the fun, food, and experience but most of all " the feeling" of "The Joint". Will miss it very much.

Every friday night, a Shirley Temple and a plate of spaghetti with meatballs with my family. That was growing up in the 60's. Talking to Uncle Joe, Rena,Joe Losito, Ronnie,Adie. I consider myself fortunate to have these memories. Up until the end, I would go and have a talk with Tommy about the good old days. We would exchange stories and pictures about Johnny's, the lake and just general gossip.

Tommy and I shared a bond of brotherhood - he as a medic in Viet Nam , me a flight surgeon Viet Nam. Each visit to Moretti’s we embraced and said “ Welcome home brother”. Thank you Tommy and Carol for the warm welcomes, the amazing meals, the feeling you we’re spending another evening with family every time you walked through the doors. What memories.
Welcome home brother
Our deepest sympathies

Dear Carol, Joey and the Moretti Family, I am so very very sorry for your loss. I grew up on thousands of delicious dinners at Moretti's Restaurant with my Mom & Dad and extended family. Carol was always so gracious, wonderful and welcoming to my family - opening the side door so that my grandfather Jim Fassbender could pull up to a long table of friends and fam in his wheelchair. Every major event in our family was celebrated with a meal at Morettis and after every delicious meal - there was Tommy at the front to say farewell and until next time (usually the following weekend). I can still taste the delicious salads, pizza, bread, rigatoni in my mind. Losing Tommy and the restaurant in the space of a few days is a devastating blow to Elmira. But thank you Tommy and Carol for all that you gave us for so many years. With much love and gratitude. Jennifer Johnston
