Obituary of Annette Harden

Age 60, of Elmira NY, was born May 25th , 1963 in Elmira, passed away Thursday, October 12th, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Curtis Fulwood and survived by her mother Emma (Howard) Fulwood. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by siblings, Theresa (Fulwood) Murphy, Patricia A. Fulwood, and a dear nephew, Brandon Briggs. She is survived by her beloved children, Shayanna Ross, and Daniel Harden; grandson Tacal; granddaughters, Janaya, Deja, and Erykah. She is also survived by husband, Scott Harden and siblings, Priscilla (Major) Roberts, Kurt Howard Jr. of TX; Sylvester Fulwood, Robert Fulwood, Ethel (Brett) Montgomery of GA; Kent (Cathy) Fulwood of Liverpool NY; along with many other nieces and nephews and extended family members. Annette has spent most of the life in Elmira where she graduated from Southside High school and raised her family. She spent several years as a fast-food worker and in retail. Over the last few years she also did childcare, caring for her niece, Alex and nephew, Aaron, who she was very close too. She enjoyed watching many different sports and loved seeing her Dallas Cowboys play; she enjoyed bingo and playing card games as well. She loved being involved and spending time with her family and friends. A lover of coffee and bunnies, she will greatly be missed by both family and friends. In accordance with her wishes there will be no service, an interment will be at the family's convenience. An event will be scheduled later to celebrate her life. The family would like to thank the staff in the Arnot ICU for making it possible for us to honor her wishes and all be with her through her final days. Walter J.
