Glenn H. Bright
Age 47 of Elmira, NY, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 unexpectedly at home. He was predeceased by his uncles McRay Bright, Jr. and Vincent Bright; grandparents Mary & Zonnie McLaurin and his beloved dog Brandy. He is survived by his mother Zandra Bright of Freeport, IL; brother and sister-in-law Kevin & Cheyeann Bright of Wilmington, NC; uncles Christopher Bright of Freeport, IL and Wardell Bright of Chicago, IL; aunt Angela Binion of Chicago, IL. Glenn was a chef at Ill Eagle Taphouse. He made it his mission to feed the homeless in our community. He would help anyone. Glenn was loved by all and thought of his community as his family. The people you have left behind could never express how much you meant to them. You will always be in our memory and hearts forever. Rest in Glory. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 8th from 1 to 4 pm at his home at 404 W. 3rd St. Elmira including a barbeque, which is something Glenn loved to do. Another Celebration of Life will be held at Ill Eagle Taphouse, 200 E. Church St., Elmira on Sunday, July 9th starting at 12 noon.
