Obituary of Omar S. Sconiers

Omar S. Sconiers Age 41 of Elmira, NY. He was born September 24, 1981 in Elmira, son of the late Clara Mae Sconiers and Raymond Stehm and passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 unexpectedly. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his adoptive parents Bertha and John Brooks; adoptive sister Sabrina Brooks. He is survived by his fiancé Reba Kingsbury; children Alyssa Cuer (grandson Noah Ferguson) of Horseheads, Donovan, Camille and Alyce Sconiers all of Elmira and Reba's 5 children; 9 grandchildren; siblings Nigel Daw, Brien Bergmark, Ben Bergmark, Tracy Williams-Sconiers, Sherry Williams-Sconiers and Lasandra Williams Sconiers; adoptive siblings Christopher Brooks and Lucretia Brooks along with a host of nieces and nephews. Omar was a longtime barber and currently an OTR truck driver. He enjoyed camping and was a car enthusiast. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Saturday, July 1st at 1 pm at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira.
