Of Elmira, NY Age 22, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 unexpectedly. He is survived by his mother Bobbie Jo Mathews Cardona of Elmira; grandmother Darla Talmage of Elmira; great grandmother Betty VanCuren-Empson of Elmira Heights; sister Manajia Matyson Truax of Elmira; significant other Jordan Rafferty of Elmira; aunt Donna Truax; uncles Dennis Truax, Michael Serow all of Norfolk, VA, David Truax of Andover, NY, Todd Truax of Washington, DC; step-mom, Angie Cardona; Step-dad, Andrae Rogers; step-dad, Dennis Fernandes; niece Layla Grace Romano of Elmira along with many cousins, step brothers and step sisters. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service at Shabach Tabernacle, 1133 Lake St., Elmira on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the Truax family.
