Biography:
Shock, Timothy E.
Born February 21, 1970 in Elmira, New York. Beloved son of Bonnie(Marshall) Lease of Elmira and John Wood of Florida. Tim was called home to our Heavenly Father the morning of October 6, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Chi(Ranck), daughters Heather Ranck and Haley Langstine, his sisters and brother-in-law Kim Klock and Sandra and Ronald Terry, loving nieces and nephews Amanda and Carl Watkins, Allison Terry, Joseph and Jenna Terry, Aaron and Samantha Klock and Andrew Klock, cherished grand nieces Lilah Klock and LeeAnn Terry, cherished grand nephews Jonathan and Jayden Watkins, grandmother Madalyn Caslin and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
During Timothy's career as a plumber he worked for Sheesley's Sewer Service inc, B/C Plumbing Heating Electric AC/R inc and Postler & Jaeckle. Every place he worked he made many friends and was a part of the team. He reluctantly had to stop working due to his illness, he enjoyed his job and took great pride in his work. Tim loved his music and his harley, spending time with loved ones, traveling and enjoying nature by hunting and fishing and enjoying his country life.
Tim loved his family and was proud of each of them for their strength, commitment to each other, constant drive to be and do good and for their accomplishments made and the ones they are still striving for. He found his path to the Lord, his Savior through his illness, and that path brought him closer to his loving family and brought peace to his soul. Tim was surrounded by the people he loved and who loved him. Tim adored Heather and Haley and was proud to call them his daughters. He loved them as his own from the first day they met 14 years ago and has enjoyed being a part of them growing into the wonderful young ladies they have become. Tim's dogs Lady and Boone were always at his side, his constant companions that brought joy to his life. He always joked and had "smart" things to say and if you "got" Tim, you had a forever friend. We laughed and we certainly have cried but we are left with a legacy of love, memories and honor. Tim gave his love to us all and taught us faith and humor. Tim will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Timothy and his mother Bonnie were fortunate to have these last few months to spend together. Sacrifices were made by both of them on many levels, this has been a gift to them both. The bond between a mother and her child cannot be broken and this time made them closer than ever. Although he loved his hill, he needed his mother's love and she, needed his.
Tim's friendships with Alvin, Chuck, Dennis, Judy, Melissa and Bob, Marcy, Russ, Scott and many others are all a part of his life's story, history and journeys. Countless stories filled with laughter that will live in our memories forever. Every member of his family and his closest friends selflessly spent countless hours caring for Tim and helped him get through each day. Special thanks to you all for your support, commitment, care, dedication and love.
