Obituary of Helen M. O'Dell

Helen M. O'Dell Age 84 of Elmira, NY. She was born May 19, 1938 in Elmira, daughter of the late Grover and Helen (Smallwood) Stedge and passed away Monday, March 6, 2023. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Claude D. O'Dell, Sr., son Claude D. O'Dell, Jr. and sister Sandy Keegan. Helen is survived by her children Steven (Tanya) O'Dell, Joni Bannon and Barbara O'Dell all of Elmira; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren; brothers Mark Stedge of Elmira, Grover Stedge, Jr. of SC, Edward Stedge of FL and Robert Stedge of SC; sisters Anna Neily of NC, Linda Burge of FL JoAnn Mallacoccio and Elaine Rosekrans both of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews. Helen was a member of AARP. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 12th from 2 to 6 pm in the community room at Bragg Towers, 115 Dewitt Ave., Elmira. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery with her husband and son at the convenience of the family.
