Obituary of Seena Marie Farthing

Seena Marie (Austin) Farthing Of Vestal, NY Age 57, passed away very unexpectedly at home on Sunday October 30, 2022. She was born in Elmira, NY to Raymond Seth and Mildred Ann (Baumgartner) Austin. Seena was predeceased in death by her dad Raymond Seth Austin on March 1, 2010. She is survived by her mom Mildred Ann (Baumgartner) Austin, her loving and devoted husband Richard R. Farthing her two sons and daughter in law, Nathan Austin at home, Richard (Ashley) Austin and grandson Kolton who is due in January of Vestal, NY, and two brothers David W. (Mikki Jo) Austin of Elmira, NY, Seth R. (Teuta Hoxha) Austin of Elmira Heights, NY and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. She was the best wife, mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin anyone could ever have. She wasn't only an aunt to Jeremy David Austin, Jessica Marie (Austin) Crandall, & Jamee Ann Austin, Seena was like a mom to them. They have many fond memories of her, through spending time together, or just having a conversation with her, she will never be forgotten. She was kind hearted, caring, and most of all she loved unconditionally, she wouldn't judge you no matter what. Seena meant the world to her Mother Mildred Austin. Seena was also preceded in death by her maternal & paternal grandparents: Kenneth Owen Baumgartner on December 9, 1981, Martha (Heywood) Baumgartner on May 22, 1971, Dorrance Seth Austin on March 5, 1977, and Mabel Luella (Starkey) Austin on January 24, 1996. Private graveside services will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Park where Seena will be laid to rest with her beloved father Ray. Walter J. Kent is assisting the Farthing and Austin families.
