Obituary of Marion Irene Storch

Marion Irene (Larrison) Storch Age 82 of Erin, NY. She was born May 1, 1940 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Coe and Viola (Walker) Larrison, and passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21st 2022, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, in Elmira, NY. In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her daughter Diane Storch; and her beloved husband, Frederick H. Storch Sr; and brothers-in-law Michael Johnston, Patrick Reinhart, and Joe Noel. She is survived by her children Dawn (Bill Lesso) Storch, Fred Storch, Jr., Duane (Missy Hughes) Storch, Susan (Randy) McKerrow, all of Horseheads, NY, and Maureen (Harold) Spencer of Erin, NY; grandchildren, Michael (Valerie) Martin, Sarah Taft, Patrick Storch, and Anthony Coolbaugh; great grandchildren Hadley G. & Camilla J. Martin; sisters Linda Johnston and Cheryl Reinhart; brother Carl Larrison; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law Sally Noel, and Linda (David) Jacobson; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. Marion was a graduate of Horseheads High School. She worked at Artistic Greetings, LRC Cable Co., and department stores including Hills & Ames. Most important to Marion was her family. Marion and Fred were married June 13th 1959 and raised their six wonderful, loving children in their home on Shamrock Drive in Erin, NY. She loved gathering them all together for the holidays and preparing the meals for the occasion. For 21 years, she and Fred spent summers camping at Lake Grove Park, Little Lake in Alpine; they enjoyed time with friends, cookouts, bonfires, and sunsets. At home Marion loved tending to her plants and flowers. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Family and friends are invited to visit the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, October 28th from 2 pm to 4 pm. Marion's memorial service will follow at 4 pm. Marion will be laid to rest in Scotchtown Cemetery, Erin, NY.
