I am at a loss for words to express my sadness at Bob’s passing. We were life long friends. Bob and my brother, Walt Burbage, were close buddies since their teenage years. I remember Bob, when I was a child, coming to our home with my brother. Bob, and Walt, served our country, during WW2. Bob entered the Navy and Walt was drafted into the Army. Bob met Faith Hendrix, and they were married. Faith and I became best friends, and were blessed with our friendship, for over 70 years, till her passing in 2021. Our children grew up together, and we did many wonderful things together, such as camping, and picnics, and visiting each other’s homes. I am so thankful to possess so many beautiful memories, during those precious years, I will miss them both so very much, but know that I will see them again, in heaven.
