Obituary of David M. Jones

David Micheal Jones, was born October 30, 1962 in Lyons, NY to the late Willie Nathaniel and Gene Autry Jones. David studied at JohnJay College and served his country in the United States Army from 1978-1983. David worked various jobs, such as, Chip & Dales, Old Country Buffet and a nursing home. David loved food, music and movies. He had a movie collection from old school to new releases. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his children. David loved to smell good, look good, and bedazzle himself in his jewelry. David loved to entertain the ladies. David had a beautiful smile. He loved to make people laugh, have fun, and entertain. David had a great sense of humor and was very charismatic. David loved his family especially his children. He had a special friendship and bond with all his children's mothers. David passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 16, 2022, in Elmira, NY. David is predeceased by his parents, Willie N. and Gene A. Jones; sisters Deborah Wilson and Becky Lomnick; grandparents Benjamin and Aurelia Franklin; nieces Renee Jones and Shalice Williams; nephews Howard Jones Jr., Montryall Jones and Marcus Jones. David leaves to celebrate his life, daughters Tiffany, Ashia, Jendayi, Danine Jones and Brooklyn Seymore; sons Tavarus, Nathan, and David Jones II; grandchildren A'Miya and Ja'sias Jones, Andre Jividen, Tavarus and Tavarus Jones Jr., Miracle and Armyiah Jones, Stevonte Fernanders Logan Jr., Stevonte Fernanders Logan III and Quayvion Lowe; sisters Aurelia Driscoll, Denise and Barbara Jones; brothers Harvey, Benjamin and Williw Jones. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
