Obituary of Cleto Matias Reyes

Cleto Matias "Larry" Reyes Age 77, of Elmira, NY was born April 10, 1945 in Rochelle, Ill the son of the late Eladio H. and Romona (Frias) Reyes. Larry as he was affectionately known, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his home in Elmira. He is survived by his loving companion of 17 years, Mary K. Bryant; Rosie (Schmall) Reyes, mother of his children; beloved children, Michelle (Harry) Whitaker of Florida; Matt and Frankie Reyes; baby sister, Josie (Ellery) Lichter of Kinsman, Ill; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In his earlier years, Larry was the top bell man for the Statler Hotel in Ithaca, NY. He was a kindhearted man who loved the Lord. He would always volunteer himself to anyone who was in need. Larry loved cooking, fishing, camping and was a member of the Guardian Angels. In accordance with Larry's wishes there will be no services. Remember him the next time you are enjoying the outdoors.
