Obituary of Dawn Marie Harding

Dawn Marie (Shock) Harding Age 53. She was born October 29, 1968 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Leonard W. and Barbara Ann (Sawyer) Shock, passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Van Etten, NY. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Howard K. Harding; son, Zachary Shock of Van Etten, NY; daughter, Alisen Noel Harding of Spencer, NY; grandsons, Kaiden Shock and Rowan Harding; brother, Anthony Shock of Elmira, NY; nieces, Lynsie and Kelsie Shock of Indiana; "adopted" brother, Jacob Scottland of Elmira, NY; along with a host of many other family relatives, and friends. Dawn was a wonderful wife, loving mother and a wonderful grandmother to her grandsons who were the apple of her eye. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at The Journey Center 116 Breesport Road Horseheads, NY 14845. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 pm to honor Dawn along with her beloved parents Leonard, who passed away June 21, 2018 and mother Barbara Ann, who passed away September 22, 2020. Dawn's son, Zachary will officiate. Interment for Leonard & Barbara will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm. The Chemung County Veterans Honor Squad will accord Mr. Shock Military Honors. Memorial Donations may be directed to the Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA 2435 NY-352 Elmira, NY 14903. Walter J.
