Obituary of Jolene M. Davy

Jolene M. Davy Age 47, was born February 4, 1975 in Elmira, NY and passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 unexpectedly at her home. She is survived by her biological father, Robert Davy and his wife Bobby Davis; step-father Burdett Hall and his wife Val Hall; beloved son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Alyssa Galpin; adored granddaughter Olivia O'Malley; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and her fur babies that she maybe loved more than humans. Jolene enjoyed dancing from a young age and would love to watch Olivia dance. She was a huge fan of Joycrest Skating Rink and loved skating when she was able to. One of her major hobbies was art. She loved to color and enjoyed having Olivia over to do arts and crafts with her. Jolene's heart was made of gold and she would love anyone who needed it. She would literally give the shirt off her back to help someone in need and to make sure they were taken care of before herself. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, March 25th from 2 to 3 pm. Her funeral service will be held at 3 pm. Lay Pastor John P. Knapp will officiate.
