Obituary of Doris M. Bobby

Doris Bobby Age 94 of Elmira, NY. She was born August 30, 1927 in Chemung, NY, daughter of the late Robert and Belle (Curtis) Miller and passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Doris lived a very long life. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Bobby, daughters Bonnie Mattison and Deborah Galindo, son Michael Bobby Sr., great granddaughter Brennley Jo Barnes, 15 siblings, and many other family members. Doris is survived by her son William (Brenda) Bobby Sr.; daughter, Linda (Mike) Thatcher; daughter-in-law Roxanne Bobby; grandchildren: William JR (Jessica) Bobby, Melissa (Corey) Ripley, Jamie (Nina) Thatcher, John Thatcher (Karrie Ahearn), Tom Thatcher, Jennifer Mattison (Kevin Decker), Barbara (Robbie) Barnes, Tracy Rodgers, Brent Brown, Lee Brown, Michael (Nicole) Bobby, Andrew Bobby, Megan (Justin) Lindsay, and Emily (Jack) Hodge; 19 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Walter Bobby of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to her graveside service on Thursday, October 21st at 10 am in Woodlawn National Cemetery, 1825 Davis St., Elmira. Her family would like to thank the 5th floor of the Chemung County Nursing Facility for the wonderful care over the years and Arnot Ogden 3B Staff for their recent care.
