Lillian Paul-Audinwood
Age 88 of Corning, NY. Lillian ("Lil") was born November 29, 1932 in Riverhead, Long Island and passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 7, 2021. Daughter of the late Porter and Viola (Cabbell) Rollins, she was predeceased by her first husband James T. Paul, son Jimmy Paul and grandson Jordan Paul; sisters Ethel Woodson and Virginia Boyd, brothers Porter Rollins, Douglas Rollins, Robert Rollins and Willard Rollins; mother and father-in-law; special aunt Louise Brown, and brothers-in-law George, Earl and Gary Audinwood.
Lillian was employed by A & P Foods for 17 years and retired from Phillips Lighting in 2004 after 17 years. A lively and dazzling lady with natural hospitality skills, Lillian enjoyed entertaining and hosting parties. It is said that to have a friend, you must first show yourself friendly. A good friend to many, Lillian engaged those around her with amusement and laughter. In her past time, Lillian developed a passion for riding Harley's; yes, Lillian was a biker chick! This hobby allowed her to embrace and express her free spirit and she truly enjoyed every invigorating excursion. Lillian was a vivacious, spicy, zesty lady who enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be truly missed by her husband, best friend and soulmate, Bill Audinwood and all those whose lives she touched .
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years William Audinwood; daughters Diane Simpson of Elmira, NY, Sheila James of Offallon, MS and Sandra (Edward) Brown Elmira, NY; sons Gary Paul, Ricky Paul (Chris), Bruce Paul all of Elmira, NY, Wayne Paul (Vickie) of Wyoming; sisters Elva Stark, Helen Rollins and Doris Dennard all of Elmira, NY, Barbara Jones and Mary Prescott both of Rochester, NY; grandchildren Derrick, Corey, Jeremy Simpson, Toni Burns, Tonya White, Karla Simpkins, Becky Booth, Jamie Paul, Blake Paul, Allah James, Anthony James, Aaron James, Eric Paul, Jad Paul, Marcus Paul, Corey Paul, Michael Paul, Matthew Paul, Anthony Paul, Edward Brown II, Ja-Lyn Brown and Micah Brown; 37 great grandchildren; great, great granddaughter Jay-lianna Perry; sister-in-law Carol and Danny Franchi; brother-in-law Raymond Audinwood; special brother-in-law Fred Audinwood; brother-in-law Harry (Louise) Audinwood; sisters-in-law Margie, Roseanna and Jennifer Audinwood; special friends Steve Smith and Nancy Marrone; special niece and nephew Pamela Jones and Keith (Tracy) Brown; special daughter-in-law Bonnie Cummings, also her loving dog Toby Keith.
The family of Lillian Paul Audinwood will receive family and friends at Faith Temple Community Church, 765 Harper St., Elmira, NY on Friday, October 15th from 11 am to 1 pm. Her memorial service will begin at 1 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
