Obituary of William F. Smith

SMITH, William F. Age 76 of Horseheads, NY. He was born August 21, 1945 in Rochester, NY, son of the late Manville F. and Barbara Ross (MacMullen) Smith and passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He is survived by his son Nikolus J. Smith of Rapid City, SD; brother and sister-in-law Robert C. and Linda M. Smith of Pine City; sister and brother-in-law Barbara J. and Claude French, Jr. of Maryville, TN along with several nieces and nephews. William graduated from Horseheads High School. He retired from Corning Community College and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during Vietnam. Family and friends are invited to his graveside service on Thursday, September 30th at 11 am in Woodlawn National Cemetery. Bill's family thanks Dr. Leigh Berry and her assistant Robin, the Horseheads Police Department, Dr. Newman and the nursing staff on 5D at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for all they each did to help and care for him.
