Obituary of Mary A. Gage

GAGE, Mary A. Age 94 of Elmira, NY. She was born July 28, 1926 in Elmira, daughter of the late Delos and Mae (Johnson) Smith and passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald and granddaughter Kathleen Fisher. Mary is survived by her daughter Gloria Carr of Fulton, NY; granddaughter Lauri Lynn Lang of Horseheads; great granddaughters Ashley Swarthout of Chapel Hill, NC, Katlyn Barr of Elmira and Gabrielle Swarthout of NC. Mary volunteered for over 32 years with th Bath VA Center, RSVP, Woodbrook (where she played the piano) and she was a commissioner with the Elmira Housing Authority. Family and friends are invited to her graveside service on Wednesday, May 19th at 2 pm in Woodlawn Cemetery.
