Obituary of Elizabeth Mruk

MRUK, Elizabeth "Betty" Of Horseheads, NY, formerly of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born in the Bronx, the daughter of the late George and Anna (Valuch) Plesa and passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Corning Hospital having lived her life to the fullest. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 2009. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Cynthia and Charles Kanach of TX, Karen and Ronald Bukowski of NY, Denise and Kurt Cox of FL and Christine Mruk Secor of NY; granddaughters Jordan Mruk Bukowski and Marissa Ann Bukowski; brother and sister-in-law Edward and Carol Plesa of NY; nephew Brian Plesa of NY. Betty was blessed with creative talents that were well known though her profession as an extraordinary seamstress, her love of quilting, and appreciation of music and art. Private services will take place at the convenience of her family.
