Obituary of Buddy A. Clemens
CLEMENS, Buddy A.
Age 87 of Big Flats, NY. He was born July 18, 1933 in Elmira, son of Curtis Urell and Marie Elizabeth (Turner) Clemens and passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Corning Hospital after a brief illness He was predeceased by his sons Todd D. , Mark D. and Kirk M. Clemens and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carole (Ross) Clemens of Big Flats; granddaughters Brandi S. (Trevor) Dieffenbach and Amber L. Clemens (Bill Deely); great grandchildren Leah White, Devon and Stryker Dieffenbach, Christopher Clemens and Miles Lang; Buddy was formerly employed with Thatcher Glass and retired from Schweitzer Aircraft. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army; a lifetime member of the Big Flats American Legion and was an avid golfer. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Buddy's life on Saturday, May 29th at the Big Flats American Legion, 45 Olcott Rd, S., Big Flats. A memorial service will begin at 12 noon, Military funeral honors will be at 1 pm and a reception will be held from 1 to 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Buddy through donations to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, 388 Upper Oakwood Ave., Elmira, NY 14903
