Obituary of Allan Bennett Casciotti

CASCIOTTI. Allan Bennett Age 73 of Elmira, NY. He was born May 1, 1947 in Ithaca, NY and passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at home after a long illness. Allan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sheila R. (Frederick) Casciotti; son and daughter-in-law Allan Brent & Joy (Welch) Casciotti; grandchildren Mariano and Amelio; sister-in-law Nena Stinson (Forrest). Allan graduated from Ithaca High School in 1966. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1968 and was discharged after 6 years. He then was employed with the Ithaca Post Office as a mail carrier for 34 years, retiring in 2002. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca. Allan's family thanks the nurses and staff at CareFirst, especially "our RN" Michelle for the wonderful care they provided him.
